BRISBANE, Jan 20 AAP - Queensland Premier Peter Beattie admitted today that a double
by-election loss by Labor on February 5 would cost him his job.

Opinion polls have tipped the ALP to win both Woodridge and Bundamba in the crucial
twin polls, but Mr Beattie predicted a six per cent swing against Labor.

Such a swing could cost Labor both seats, plunging the government back into minority.
