Qld: Twenty three charged over drugs
More than 20 people have been charged following a police operation targeting drugsactivities in the Toowoomba area, west of Brisbane.
Police say they searched 20 premises in the city yesterday, and seized amphetamines,cannabis, LSD, ecstasy and hydroponics equipment as part of Operation Fiat.
Twenty three people had been charged with 54 drug and property offences, includingpossession and supply of a dangerous drug, production of a dangerous drug, possessionof the proceeds of supplying drugs and possession of property used in a crime.
Police say those charged will appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court over the next two weeks.
